Good bang for the buck

I needed an amp for a pair of 12" Rck Fos speakers I had in a sealed enclosure. Since there were 2 speakers rated a 4 ohms I was going to have to get a serious amp to run them which = $$$. Then it dawned on me that I could get 2 of these bridged mono and run each speaker separately.They push the speakers more than adequately, I would go as far to say they push them hard, the sound is rich and plentiful and I am very happy with this choice. I have been running this setup for almost a month in hot Florida and not one problem with overheating.For what they are and what they cost. I am very happy.

Great sounding amp

Great amp for a small-mid sized system. I bought it to drive some older Pioneer 400W (100W RMS) 12's and it sounds perfect. Small size made it easy to stash the amp back under a seat so it's out of sight and clean looking.

(updated review)After almost a full years use the amp is still running strong. I would just like to mention that it runs alot hotter now then it did when first purchased. This amp needs to be placed in a location with plenty of air flow. I would not recommend it for an under the seat application as their is a risk of fire. that is why I have reduced my rating from 5 to 3 stars.(original review)I was looking for an amp that would push my two JL 10" subs without overpowering me.This amp is just what I needed. It looks great and can be easily adjusted on the fly to give you that huge skull thumping boom or just to add that subtle bass line that every song needs.It runs a bit warm but what amp dosent? I would recommend the 1.5 feraud Power Acoustiks cap to go with this as it has the same cool design of the amp!
