Hard to beat at this price!

This little "Linear" amplifier is a very good deal! It will give you roughly 5 times the input power on the amateur 2 meter band. It can easly deliver 100 watts of good clean RF power. My mistake was running it with a Yaesu FT-817ND where at the radios rated output of 5 watts I only get 25 watts. But as I said that was my fault for not reading the specs. With 20 watts of drive you'll get 100 and with 25 you'll get 125 watts. The amplifier is linear so works AM, FM and SSB. There is no preamp but in reality a preamp mounted at the radio is useless anyway. It's well heat sinked, the entire case is one big sink. Documentation is sparse but does come with a schematic and with only 2 switchs you'll figure it out quickly. It adds nothing to your signal just a nice clean boast of power and stays cool while doing so. I've used mine for about a year now and run into open and shorted loads and it still works. I would not hesitate to buy another if something happened to this one.DE N8XYN 73

When I got my package and opened it up. The first thing I noticed is that the warranty seal was broken. So I guess I don’t get a warranty. I guess that’s how they get out of there warranty. And another thing is that there is no fuse on this amp. So you will want to add a fuse before you use this thing. I will update this feed back after I add a fuse and use it.JerryKG7BPX
