Alpine MRX-65F
By Kenlaw
Very happy, the 100 x4 is an excelant amount of power. I have a three way setup up front with a pair of Kicker 6.5 subs and a set of Alpine 6.5 type R components. In the rear I have a set of the type S components for rear fill. The power matches very well with the MRX-1100 that I have on two type S 15" woofers. I love this system.

Sweet amp!
By Karen L. Coffee
A really awesome amp. I currently have 4 Alpine SPR-50's, one on each channel. Eventually will run left and right pairs at 2 ohms, on ch 1-2 to free channels 3-4 for a bridge and sub. You know how Class D's are sometimes talked down to? You shouldn't do that with this one! It amplifies the entire frequency range down to 5Hz uniformly. The sound is warm, crisp, and punchy! This is a high quality Class D that will NOT leave you thinking you should have bought an AB.OK now... Fairly hefty, although I had to remind myself that it was a Class D and therefore didn't require at large a heatsink as I had expected (more efficient)! Runs essentially cool, although I have not yet ran it full-blast for extended times. I expect it to shine when I do. Connections are smart and easy to use. Speaker-level input works great, detects when my head is on. Test sheet came in at 188W at 14.4VDC - pretty cool that it can run a bit above spec! Has a nice subtle blue LED on top center, within the sort of black-brushed aluminum.
