Monoblock amp
By Joel Chesney
I am always cautious about inexpensive electronics but this amp has surprised me. Design and construction are superb. I run my system pretty light most of the time so I haven't seen any overheating issues. When I do run it hard, it pushes my Pioneer 12" woofer so hard! Would buy Planet Audio products again and again.

YOU DONT NEED MORE THAN THIS
By carrasco
i got this amp from ebay but ebay doesnt have a decent review page, anyway, i have the gain of this amp set to the 50% hook it to a 2 8'' infinity subs which are perfect too, they both gave me a full range of bass, dont get cofused with the rediculous wattage that of 1500 watts, i also have a very complex dj system of 3000 watts, so there is no way this amp is 1500 watts, it is a 700 rms watts and my subs are 250 rms watts each (500), whats the point of buying those expensive amps?

Consistent
By VeryFurious
At the time of this review, I had this amp for 2+ weeks. Its been wired to a Dual Coil 1200w Max 600wRMS SubWoofer that is wired parallel (both + to the positive terminal on amp and both - to negative terminal on amp) making run at the rated 2ohms 1100RMS. There has been no times that the amp would go into protecting mode or cut out. I am also using a 4 gauge wiring kit (VM Audio SRSK4B).The amp has some nice features, like the bass booster which goes as high as 18db. For the record it not like some amps where you pick 0,6, 12,18db you actually pick 0-18 which makes it better for fine tuning your amp to your subwoofer. There is also a low pass and Full range switch. When set to "low pass" you can use the separate Low pass range knob to allow certain types of bass to pass thur and not others. In other words You can set it to allow mostly the Deep Vibrating Bass that is in some music to come thru and filter out some of the more Punchy/Knocking type of bass which is the type of bass that may sound better with a WOOFER (Google Woofer vs Subwoofer). Also the lower the setting the more you will NOT hear voice thru the Subwoofer.By the way When you take the amp out the box, you might wonder how the Heck am im going to hook the Power, Ground and Remote wire when I can't access the Top to unscrew the screws, The amp comes with a Allen wrench use it to remove the cover that is over the screws
