Got What I Expected, Quality Product
By Matt
People need to have realistic expectations with this product. If you're located beyond a major city/broadcast market, you likely need to ditch the indoor antenna and consider an exterior mounted antenna. Search for the FCC reception map to get an idea of the signal strength in your area.I personally live in an urban area, located in a mid-sized city with all the major broadcasters/towers located within 15-20 miles. Before installing this amplifier, while the FCC map showed all broadcast signals were 'strong' in my area, I was only receiving 2-3 of 7 the major stations I should've received (while using the basic Leaf antenna). After installing this amplifier, and making sure my antenna location was optimized, I now receive every local market broadcaster I should be receiving. This amplifier will help optimize a subpar location in a broadcast market (mine being in an urban environment, with a fair amount of trees, buildings, etc serving as interference) and likely will also help out an otherwise marginal antenna orientation. Without this working, I was seriously considering getting either an amplified Leaf or similar antenna. With this item, don't expect to get signals you "shouldn't" be getting, based on the FCC maps. If you're looking to add out of market/reach stations, go check out exterior antennas and amplifiers.

Boost I needed
By Peeps
My antenna reception was just too choppy on some channels, it was getting very annoying. Added this amplifier and now my channels come in much clearer and I actually gained a few more channels!

Marginally helped
By Wolfy
I bought this amp for use with the Leaf Indoor antenna. While it helped with reception, it did not help with getting any new channels. I'm now looking for a amplified splitter, in order to get rid of the extra cabling and loss. I currently have this amp connected to my digital converter box and to a digital splitter, which my rabbit ears and Leaf are connected to.Update: I've since purchased PCTs 1 & 2-Port Passive Amp. The 2-Port Amp worked like a champ and I returned this item. Don't bother with PCT's mini 1-Port Amp. It doesn't have as much power, compared to their well built 2-Port.
