The boss

For the price this amp is absolutely amazing. Boss audio gets such bad reviews, but for the people who know what they are doing when hooking them up most of the boss products are just as good as kicker, rockford, etc. I have this amp and 2 boss p15dvc subs, i broke them in for a week at about 20 percent power, not only did they bang so hard that i got a ticket within a day of installing it, but my friend who hates boss, and loves kicker, came out upset because my system was so much louder than his, he couldn't even hear his music. Now a week later I turned it this amp up to 60 percent power, and the subs shook my rear view mirror right off. For a total of 300 dollars for amp, subs, wiring kit, and box, this is an amazing system for the price, well worth at least double, and can out do more expensive systems if they are set up right.

But it's still going...

I've purchased Boss products before and so far they haven't let me down. I've invested a lot less in audio equipment than other people and got the same results. I bought this amp in late May. When I installed it I had to play with the gains to control the thunderous bass from the 15" DVC sub. Once I got it fine tuned it sounds awesome. The only problem is about a month ago it started making a noise that sounds like a seizing electric motor, when I first turn on the system, it goes away in a few seconds. I have checked the specs and other reviews and there's nothing on any internal cooling fan. The amp keeps on working though, even with the red protection light on, and it's on until the noise goes away, then so does the light, but all the while the amp is working normally. Hope it doesn't die on me.

Great till it quit...

I bought this product with high expectations. After one month of having it in my car it went into protect mode and would not work anymore... It kicked on sending a loud thump through my sub for about 1 second and goes back into protect mode... It did this until I unplugged my subs... About a 5 second loop constantly... BOSS you need to figure this out...Sincerely,Unhappy Customer...
