It WAS a Nice Upgrade!

This amp is a replacement for an MTX amp that often overheated and shut off. I have had a 600 watt Nitro amp pushing two 12" MTX subs in my Malibu for the past 6 years without failure, so I thought it would be natural to get one for my Avalanche... WOW! It pushes the Two 12" MTX subs very well and I was forced to turn down the levels a little for the sake of balancing the bass with the treble. I have had it a couple of months now, and it has only gone out once (I was really pushing it hard that day). Hence the reason for 4 stars. After adjusting the levels, the amp has performed flawlessly.Update... It hasn't been three months and now it has stopped working because it keeps blowing fuses! Checked all wiring, disconnected speaker & turned the volume on the head unit off...still blowing fuses! I think this amp is done.
