Dont buy!

i had this for only 3 months and the channels 3 and 4 went out already! terrible amp and proudces poor quality if your looking for nice clear sound. i also have another kenwood amp for my 2 12" subs and that amp is great, only was 200$ but was clearly worth the money. this one was on 80$ and i see why. The sopund is terrible and the 2 channels dont even work anymore. very upset and im going to buy another kenwood becuase Boss products have nothing but problems from what i have heard and seen. do not buy this or Boss, stick to a better kenwood, alpine, or infinity for quality

Research and Surprises

I did research on this particular product and it had hardly any reviews on any site really. I found a couple of specs that said the power output ranged from 100w to 400w (rounded to nearest 100). I installed it; and so far it is, as some sites had put it, a good beginner's amp. Its not show quality (obviously). But it is pretty decent bang for buck (assuming you know what you are doing with amplifiers and don't just turn the gain up just to assume that "gain" is another word for "volume").The product came very quickly, and Ill just let you know now that based on the calculations, assuming that this holds up to the a-b class standard (in other words holds up 50-60% efficiency), this amp can produce clean sound; constant power at proximately 337.5-405 watts. I didn't put a multimeter to test it more thoroughly, but hopefully that ballpark is accurate enough. I am actually quite content with it though. It is decent for its price. As I said in the beginning, its a good beginner amp for those who aren't entering their car in shows and want some cleaner and louder sound.
