Great little amp wish it had a little more power

Have this amp hooked to 2 Pioneer 10" subs TS-W254R (250w RMS)bridged pushes them pretty well would have liked a little more power. Bass tracks hit pretty hard. But music from bands like Metallica low-mid bass lacking some. When multiple bass sent to amp bass gets muddy but that could be the speakers. Have crossover set pretty well. Have gains all the way up. Installed amp input control knob (bass control). I don't think it actually puts out 250watts per channel. Never gets hot, makes me think it has more to give. I wonder if it is 1 ohm stable.I would certainly recommend this amp. Best deal for the price. Maybe some subs rated under 200w RMS would be louder, but the Pioneers have a pretty high SPL of 93db. I have them in a sealed box, could port it and get it louder. But then upper bass tracks wouldn't hit as hard.

This little amp is great for the price. I took the risk and think it was a great investment. I'm running it as a 3 channel amp. 2 channels are running Infiniti reference component 6.5" speakers in the front doors, the other channel is running a 12" Pioneer shallow subwoofer. The Infinitis are 90rms, 270max. The subwoofer is 400rms, 1500 max. The amp is running 150x2rms and 300rmsx1. My car is an 09 wrx with a Kenwood 595 head unit that is powering Infiniti reference 2 way speakers in the rear doors. With this setup the amp is powerful enough at less than half gain for me. It can get very loud, much louder than I'll ever need. The sound quality is great, some say the class d amps don't sound good, but it sounds great to me. I have used A/B amps previously. A huge step up from the factory radio. The amp also stays cool, doesn't seem to need much ventilation. If you're looking for great audio quality on a budget, this amp does deliver! I noticed the setting screws need to be glued as well as the previous review, but it does not affect functionality. Worth buying if you just want a basic setup in my opinion.

Really all you'll need for this amp to be optimal is 4 gauge power wire 10-12 gauge speaker wire for sub(s) most kits give you 14-16 gauge speaker wire which works well for midsThe Amp gets warm but never hot and I've had it pounding for atleast an hour so very impressed there.I would reccomend atleast 12 gauge wire for your subs if bridging. Im using 10 gauge for the sub bridged to both voice coils I supose I could see if the 8 gauge does any betterI was iffy on purchasing this amp and to my expectation it performs well.I have 1x 12" Pyle dual voice coil chooper series 1200w max subwoofer. My stereo has a single RCA out for the sub so I got a Y RCA spliter to bridge 2 channels to 1 and get that extra Pounding I know this amp will put out and does. The Gain, X over, and bass boost controls are great to fine tune this puppy. My lights do not even dim while getting a back massage.I am very pleased with this purchase. May buy another ; )After shopping around this was the best deal I could find for a 1200 Watt 4 channel class D amplifierUpdated Info: After making adjustments one of the dial adjustments came loose or about came out sticking to the flat head screw driver. Pushed back in no issues Im using a 900W wire amp kit that comes with 8 gauge power wire and seems to be doing fine though I have been running this for a good week my battery seems to be drainning-dieing so I have ordered a 3.5 Farad Capacitor to see if that helps. If the Cap gives me any problems I'll have to try a 4 gauge power wire, which 1200w calls for but as far as I can tell the 8 gauge seems to be holding up. The price difference in the 4 gauge and the 8 gauge kit is just a few dollars though the 4 gauge kit is for 2 channel and the 8 gauge kit I got (same brand) is 4 channel, so they get you there. Really all you'll need for this amp to be optimal is 4 gauge power wire 10 gauge speaker wire for sub(s) most kits give you 14 gauge speaker wire which works well for the 5x7s and the RCA wires are usually about 12-14 which is fine comming from the radio/reciever unit wich puts out 35-80 watts. Mine is 80 watt x4. So no need for an amp for the mids and tweets I have 4 tweets (100w each) and 2x 4" 2 way (200w each, 30w nominal) for the front speakers all striaght from the radio (no amp). 2x 5x7s 1 right rear and 1 left rear(275w each) for the rear and one 12" (1200W max bridged) comming off the amp. System Is loud and Rocks the Block. I can tell it's drainning the battery so after the Cap is installed I'll update
