whole lotta kick in a little package

i ordred two of these amps. they produce more power than and other similar rated amps. i have both of these stacked up on one another real close in my trunk and they are always cold to the touch after running at full volume for an hour plus. i am running 4 kicker ss mid ranges 6.5 " ; 4 kicker ss tweeters ; 4 kicker ss 8" mid bass woofers ;two kicker comp 15" sub woofer 2 ohm ; on an alpine cda-117 with imprint add on processor. the four 8 are on two channels; two 15" on two channels ; the four tweeters are on 2 channels and the four 6.5 are on two channels. i am pushing 127 db in my cab. these amps rock hard and are very small and do not run even close to hot !. the other guy that posted here is misleading. these amps are the bees knees. plus it has a few very cool features . not a bad amp at all. ill be keeping mine till they die !

Great sound with a small footprint

I didn't purchase this amp at amazon because sonicelectronix is selling the same thing for $100 less shipped. It is the smallest 4 channel amp I've ever used. As such it doesn't have the power output of larger amps so if loudness is what you're after then this amp is not for you. I have it powering infinity kappa 60.9cs component speakers in the doors of my crew cab truck. Speaker and power connections are clearly marked on the amp making hookup easy. This amp doesn't have a cooling fan so it does run hot and I've subtracted a star for it. This is something to keep in mind when you mount it. I've got it mounted under a seat but the sides are clear for air to flow around it.To be honest this amp is really no louder than my eclipse avn5500 navigation head unit but it does supply enough power to the speakers to keep them clean. If you want loud then you'll have to get something with a much higher output and that also means a big increase in size. If I would've had the room I would've mounted the large high powered 4 channel amp I already have which has more than double the power of this amp.
