Great product for the price

This is the second time I have purchased the P1400.4. First installation was in a 2000 Isuzu Rodeo. Sold it with the vehicle (increased the value of the vehicle by way more than the cost of the product). Second installation is now in a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo. Sounds better this time around because I grounded it with heavier cable with a shorter path to ground. Once the gain is properly adjusted (easy to do), the output is flawless. No perceivable distortion at full volume (although full volume is way too loud for most normal ears to withstand for too long). Using a JVC head unit and Fusion 6 inch woofers and 1.5 inch tweeters in front, Fusion 4 inch coaxials in the rear tailgate header, stock Isuzu 6 inch; full range speakers in the rear doors (connected to the head unit for ambient sound and to prevent speaker damage) along with a separate powered 10 inch Sonic sub. Great system. Would do the same thing all over again.

Very good amplifier

This amp POUNDS! I have it hooked up to 2 MTX Thunder 8000's (old speakers, but worthy of the MTX name) and it out-rocks my friend's Alpine dealer-installed system. It is a great amp, I have had no trouble with it, and you will get respect with it in the car audio world.
