The perfect cornerstone of a budget build.

The Boss cx250 is a great Amp for the money. I have it bridged to a Pioneer TSW251R 600 Watt 10" Sub and it sounds really, really good. (Bridged is the way to go) Its much louder and hits much harder than I expected. Has an integrated crossover, adjustable frequency and bass boost, and a remote level control. It also looks awesome! I can't tell you how many people see this amp and can't believe what I paid for it. It only requires a 20Amp fuse and 8-guage wire, so anyone with a set of pliers can crimp the connectors (No soldering required).On the down side, it runs hot. The amp is about the size of a ream of copy paper and shouldn't be mounted under your seat. (It wouldn't fit under the driver seat of my 02 S-10) don't go by the max rating. In bridged mode this amp is rated at 400watts max / 250 sustained. After running this amp for about a week I couldn't help but wonder "What it I got something more powerful?"Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. Would definitely buy again / recommend this amp. The features and performance are astonishing for the asking price. It's the perfect cornerstone of a budget build.

Inexpensive, clean sounding amp. I am using this with a 8 inch bazooka tube in my truck and it sounds great.

I had this hooked up in two different cars over a period of roughly 14 months. It was driving a Precision Power C1 12" sub @ 300w RMS. It always made plenty of bass, and ran cool. I replaced it recently with a newer, similar model of BOSS amp, and this moved to the rear deck to power two Pioneer 6x9's. It does that job just as good as it did with the subs, and for what I paid, I really can't complain. 5/5.
