The PowerBass ASA Series of amplifiers offers a complete line up of 2 and 4 channel models. Whether you just need more power or you are looking to build an entire system the ASA Series has a model that is perfect for almost any application. The low profile (under 2") extruded heat sink lends itself to a wide variety of mounting locations in the vehicle-including under most front seats. Although the elegant brushed satin black finish and rounded corners will have you wanting to show off this sophisticated piece of electronics to all your friends! All of our 2 and 4-channel models include such features as built in electronic crossovers (high or low pass), gain control, variable Bass EQ control, pass through low level RCA jacks and solder-less input terminal blocks. Thanks to our over engineered MOSFET power supplies each model can comfortably operate at 2-ohm stereo or 4-ohm mono. Plus each model comes equipped with a port to add an optional wired remote Gain Controller (order model ASA-BASS) that allows the driver to adjust the woofers output from the cockpit of the vehicle.

Great amp for front & rear speakers

I got this for my front and rear 5x7 speakers.This is a medium size amp and so far it's great. It really brings the 5x7 speakers to life, all sorts of low end frequencies now (was previously hooked to the headunit directly, probably a measly 15W RMS.)The speakers I have are supposedly 2 ohm (so they should be getting around 100 watts RMS), and I get great volume out of them, and it sounds good overall. No complaints with this amp, especially considering its price.I'd say from hearing (or loss of hearing!) that these are close or slightly above their rated power.I did not try the bridging features (I have a dedicated subwoofer amp.)One thing that was very annoying is that the manufacturer glued a cardboard card to the top of the amp. That damn 3M glue was so hard to get off! The appearance of the amp is great, I don't know why they had to glue something to it before they shipped it!Warning: All the adjustments were turned up on my amp, check them before powering on for the first time.
