I bought this amp bew almost a year ago an its made my 2 12s knock shoes off the shelf an i have a eq with it an its insane if your lookin for a great amp thatll last go with this its awesome if you have an eq that will help out by sending a stronger rca input to the amp trust me ive done installs for over ten years an its the best amp ive had its 600 rms at 4 ohms and 900 rms at 2 ohms an 1200 rms at 1 ohm an its rated very close to the actual power it puts out at 1 ohm its 1150 watts or so rms so its awesome

Great value!

I have been very pleased with this amp! I don't really know what the actual wattage is. But I don't really care. I was building a budget system, and this was the best amp for me. I have it pushing 2x Kenwood Kenwood KFCW3013 / KFCW3013PS / KFCW3013PS 12 Car Subwoofer 12" subwoofers wired at 2ohms. Even though they are in a tiny, 0.75 cube/sub box, they hit HARD. The amp barely even gets warm after bumping for 30-45 minutes. The build quality feels very sturdy. I'm pleased with the amp. Never had a Power Acoustik product before, but they have me as a customer!

Not as good as i thought

Previously i had bought a Power Acoustik amp froma guy for $20 and felt like i had bought a $200 amp because it hit so hard. After trying to find a new amp just to upgrade, i tried a Hifonics 1000.1d, Crunch GPV2100.1 ground pounder, and this. The hifonics and this one are very similar due to the RMS it puts out at 2 ohms and they are class D amps, but the only problem is, is they dont hit that hard. I kept the crunch gpv, and sent this back the day after. The settings were hard to work with, cause i really couldnt tune it, and the gain control was more of an on/off switch going from no gain to 100% with a slight turn. Save your time and money, go for the GPV2100.1, its about the same price.
