Amazing Amp For Upgraded Stock Head Unit

Have a 2010 BMW 3 Series with iDrive. If you have one of these cars, the first thing you will notice with the "base stereo" or "Hi-Fi stereo" unit, is the speakers are crap. You cannot do anything about the head unit. I went to some different BMW forums and found that this amp will take "high wattage" (not what you think) powered speaker inputs from the head unit and can transform them into a better sound by adjusting the frequency and gain, while also adding power without any sound distortion. This also has a high-pass and low-pass filter for adding component speakers or sub-woofers from the same source. The best part about this amp, it doesn't need a remote wire (signal sensing) input, as the amp only turns on when it picks up the head unit turning on from the speaker input.Overall, not only does these amp produce great power, it was one of two amps that would do what I needed for my application. I did not need a "cleansweep" or any type of signal cleaner application, the amp did all the work for me. Arc Audio was the only other amps that would work and they are double the price. Not all Alpine amps work like this, just the "MRX" lineup.P.S if you have a 2006-2011 BMW 3 series and you want to upgrade the sound system, get this amp and some good component speakers. You shouldn't cut any wires. If you visit any of the E90 forums, people sell wiring harness that are all plug-in-play. Also get some 8" woofers for under the seat. There are only a few that fit.
