This amp runs my 10W7AE-3 sub with excellent clarity and power. My buddy has a 12W7-3 with a 1000/1 slash amp, and all I did was swap them around with my setup and I noticed no difference, but that would also depend on how much of an audio fanatic you are. I have had multiple systems over the years, and I am by far the happiest with my current configuration with this particular amp. With this amp the one note I will say is that it is rated 1000 watts at a 2 Ohm load, and for the JL W7 3 ohm subs it is rated at 750 Watts RMS. this unit is also surprisingly small from what I was expecting, which is a good thing because it is easier to find a spot to mount it. I cannot speak for the longevity of this unit, as I have only had it a week, but I would expect the same great JL quality as they do with everything they manufacture. Bottom line is Excellent price for JL quality gear at this power rating!

This amp pounds the heck out of my MTX TR 75 12' subs. I have a 2003 Jaguar X-Type with the stock radio still attatched. I upgraded to a Double Din JVC KW-XS68, but haven't installed yet because my installation kit is on the way (just ordered). This is only going to make this system sound AMAZING. I would recommend an 8 gauge wiring kit for this amp. You will not be disappointed with this deep bass amplifier. It's not fancy, it just gets to the point!!!

i have this amp pushing 2 jl 12w3v3-4 in a ported box and it pounds so damn hard..ive had many combos of subs and amps over the last 10 years and this by far is the best ive ever had!!
